Billie Anne Martin Schauer, 92, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2017 in Casper, Wyoming with Billie Jean, Glen and her beloved dogs Obie and Gizmo by her side. Billie Anne was born on July 27, 1925 to Willy Washington Butts and Martha Anne Butts in Chickasha, Oklahoma. In 1945 she married Pepper Martin in Amarillo, Texas while he was in the Air Core. They then moved to Riverton, Wyoming after World War II and started their family, son, Rex Laverne, and daughters, Cheri Ann and Billie Jean. Billie Anne was always very athletic and loved to compete. She played tennis and golf for many years, winning numerous tournaments. In 1997 Billie married Homer Schauer in Casper, Wyoming. They loved to travel and shared many wonderful cruises together. She was preceded in death by Pepper, Homer, and most recently her daughter Cheri . She also lost her sister, Francis of Oklahoma and great grandson of Riverton. Billie Anne is survived by her daughter, Billie Jean (Glen); step-children, Mark of Colorado; Dee of California; and their children; sister, Peggy of Arizona and her children, Andy, Steve and Kathy. She loved her grandchildren - Samuel of Casper, Ginifer of Maui; Michael of Riverton, Jeremiah of Colorado and Adriana of Idaho. Her precious great grandchildren, Massimino and Giovannia of Casper; Bella-Sina, Kylania and Samuel of Maui; Liliian and Evelyn of Idaho; Michael, Brian, Sasha and Liz of Riverton. A celebration of life will be held in the spring in Riverton, Wyoming. .
