Billie Jean Decker passed away on February 10, 2016. Billie was born in Shreveport, LA on April 22, 1929. She moved to Casper in 1952 from Jackson, TN to work as a registered nurse. In 1954, she married the love of her life, Darrell Decker. A few years later, she left her nursing career to join Darrell in the family businesses, Decker Alinement and Auto Glass, where they worked together for many years. They moved to Dubois, WY in 1977 where they spent 17 years and then returned to Casper. Over the years, she loved gardening, fishing, golfing and cooking. There was always a new recipe to try out for the family. Billie was preceded in death by her father and mother, William Meriwether and Anne Claytor and her brother George Meriwether. She is survived by her husband, Darrell Decker; her two children, Darlyn McIntosh (Jim) and Debbie Decker; her four grandchildren Ryan Rasner, Reid Kronberg-Rasner (Josh), Darbi Westman (Andy) and Zachery Gentzlinger; great grandchildren, Damion and Mason. She was a loving wife, proud mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed. Burial will be at the Veteran's Cemetery in Evansville. No services are planned. Donations may be made in Billie's name to the Shrine Hospital in Salt Lake City.
