Betty Jo Noel

Betty Jo Noel, age 70, went home to be with her Savior August 11, 2019. She was born April 6, 1949 in Hot Springs, South Dakota to Paul and Phyllis Hibbs and married her sweetheart, Gerald "Jerry" Noel on September 20, 1969. Betty Jo graduated from Kelly Walsh High School in 1967 and earned her LPN certificate from Casper College. She was as a nurse at Wyoming Medical Center and later taught preschool and Sunday school for 23 years. She retired from working as floral manager at Albertsons in 2011. Betty Jo enjoyed volunteering at Oasis Food Pantry serving and praying for the needy. Her life was a living example of this Bible verse written in her journal. "Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it."- Hebrews 13:2. Betty Jo was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Bonnie (Wayne) Routh and Shirley (John) Gardner. She is survived and will be missed by her husband, Jerry; siblings, LeRoy (Sharon) Hibbs and Patricia (Meliton) Quiles; children, Sherri (Matthew) Roberts, Charlene (Cody) Canada, and Ryan (Kendra) Noel; and grandchildren, Sarah Roberts, Daniel Roberts, Kylan Morgan, Wyatt Canada, Patience Noel, and Amara Noel. Please join us in celebrating her life Saturday, August 17th at 11:00 a.m. at College Heights Baptist Church Community Center 1927 S. Walnut. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Oasis Food Pantry at this same address.
