Betty Lou Kelley was born to John and Donna Bynon, on April 25, 1929 in Carbon Hill, Alabama. She moved to Rock Springs, Wyoming at a young age after the death of her mother. Betty was one of seven children. Betty met Charles Kelley in Rock Springs, Wyoming where they were married on September 14, 1945. Betty loved to play guitar. She earned her music degree in Rock Springs and spent many hours playing for her family and various night clubs including Hill City, South Dakota where her music was broadcast on the radio. Betty lived in various states during her life, but loved Wyoming. Betty loved her grandchildren/great grandchildren and enjoyed all the time she spent with them. Betty was preceded in death by her husband Charles Kelley, a nine year old daughter Dorothy Ann, four brothers and one sister. Betty is survived by daughters Grace (Jay) Wright of Casper, Wyoming, Donna (Stan) Grant of Washington, Cindy Kelley of Washington, Son John (Hanna)Kelley of Washington and by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Services will be held at Good Shepard Lutheran Church on Wednesday September 12, 2012 at 3:00PM. Mom we love and will miss you dearly thank you for the great person you were.
