On October 16,2015 there will be a memorial celebration of life of Betty (Summers) Kagie who peacefully accepted her wings on October 12,2015.she is survived by Husband Barton Kagie,Daughter Wendi Hoffbauer, of Indiana...Brothers Dale Summers of Casper and Larry Summers of Washington,Step son Bill Kagie of Virginia and Step daughter Melissa (Kagie) Dacer Of Washington 4 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews..She was born in Powell Wyoming and has lived in Wyoming most of her life...She married Ralph Hoffbauer in June 1963 and they had 2 girls. ( the youngest proceeding her in death) they divorced in the fall of 1973..she Married Barton Kagie in ..September....,... 1989 In Casper Wyoming.she was preceded in Death by Both her parents..Noel and Lorene ( Lewis) Summers one daughter, her first husband, and a sister in law Betty enjoyed knitting, crocheting,hunting, fishing,camping,dancing, painting and drawing..Most ppl that knew her knew she loved to draw and paint most of all..She repainted most of the garden statues and the shepherd of the valley nursing home during her stay there.. was always drawing... flowers usually..there are not more than a handful of pl that have one of her "original works of art"you only got one if she liked you she had a wicked sense of humor..and was quite often ornery and liked practical jokes. The family will scatter her ashes in her beloved Big Horn Mountains.Many thanks to Shepard of the Valley Nurses Sue and Sherry, the team at hospice, Pastor Don of Highland Park Community Church Bustard's Funeral Home and all the friends and family that took the time to visit with her
