Betty Ringo Greear

Betty R. Greear, 87 years old, born October 16, 1936, left this Earth for a great adventure on December 12, 2023. Betty lived in many cities throughout Texas and Oklahoma in her youth. In 1958 she moved to Pecos, TX and raised her three daughters, Rhonda, Josaphine (Josa), and Linda there. In her 39 years in Pecos, Betty and her husband, Ben, owned and operated several businesses. In 1996, Betty moved to Casper, WY, where she was employed by the University of Wyoming and taught Nutrition at the Extension Office in Casper for 20 years. It was her great joy to teach her students. She won many awards throughout her career. The one she was most proud of was the Linda Meltzer Award for Excellence. Betty spent 9 years after she retired enjoying her family and friends, and playing with her dog, Mister.

Betty is preceded in death by her daughter Josaphine Ingram, her parents, and many close friends.

Betty is survived by her daughters, Rhonda (Terry) Donelson and Linda Suttee, her grandchildren, Rusty Bartholomeo, Chastity Suttee, Clay (Rhonda) Ingram, Jon (Heidi) Suttee, Sterling (Melissa) Ingram, eight great-grandchildren, many extended family and many close friends.

Betty did not wish to have a full service. The family will have a private celebration of her life.
