Betty Gilbert

After a long, happy, and healthy life, Betty June Gilbert, passed away on February 4,, 2014. Raised in Weslaco, Texas, where she attended high school and met the love of her life Franklin M. Gilbert, her husband for over 65 years. Their family moved to Wyoming in 1957, where Frank worked for Amoco. In 1978 they transferred to Cairo, Egypt. She loved to travel and was able to see many countries. Betty is survived by; her husband, Franklin, her sons; Garry and John and his wife Faye, two grandchildren; Dustin and wife Staci, and Amanda and one great-granddaughter, Marina. Memorial services for Betty will be held at 1:00PM, Friday, February 7, 2014, at Bustard's Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow at Oregon Trail Veteran's Cemetery in Evansville, WY. Memorial contributions in Betty's honor may be made to the Casper Humane Society.
