Betty Donmyer

Betty Faye Donmyer (Collins), age 87, passed away in Casper on November 22, 2019 following a sudden illness.

The funeral service will be held at Bustard's Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 27 at 1:00pm.  Following the funeral, she will be interred next to her husband, John Donmyer at Highland Park Cemetery.

Betty was born in Wichita, Kansas on May 19, 1932 to Tony and Magdalina Collins, and she was raised in New Cambria, Kansas, where she met her husband John. They were married in 1951 and lived in Kansas City, Missouri and Palatine, Illinois before moving to Casper. Following her husband's passing in 1988, Betty continued to pursue her passions of quilting, sewing, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In 1996, Betty married Arnold Schiefferstein and they spent nine loving years together until his passing in 2006.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Shirley, and her husbands John and Arnie.

Betty is survived by three children, John Donmyer, Jr., Kathleen and Mark Gardner, and Steven and Amy Donmyer, and also her grandchildren Cameron and Erica Gardner and their children Griffin, Cooper, and Zoey; Kathryn Donmyer and Henry Walker and their children Jaylen and Kai; Kyle Gardner; Quinn Donmyer, Jaclyn and Chris Steinbarger and their children James and Declan; Allison Donmyer and Adam Bush; and Corey Donmyer.
