Betty Day

On May 17, 2013, Betty J. Day, 84 of Richmond, Texas, passed away surrounded by those who loved her so very much. Betty was born April 15, 1929 in Lincoln, Nebraska. She was a graduate of Natrona County High School and worked in Casper for many years at the Mobil Oil Refinery. After transferring with her husband to New Jersey she worked for Columbia Records until retirement. Betty enjoyed ceramics, gardening, camping, fishing and strolling the beautiful beaches of Destin, Florida with her family. More recently Betty relocated to Richmond, Texas to be close to her son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by her lifelong sweetheart and husband of 64 years, Clyde W. Day, Jr., parents, Theodore and Ada Priess and brother Mikal Priess. Betty is survived by her son, Ronald Day, and grandchildren, Ryan and Danielle Day, all of Richmond, Texas. A memorial service will be held honoring Betty on Saturday, May 25, 2013, 10 A.M. at Bustard's Funeral Home, 600 CY Avenue, Casper, Wyoming, followed by a burial at Highland Cemetery.
