Bernice Smith, age 79, passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Central Wyoming Hospice in Casper. Bernice was born in Jamestown, North Dakota on March 9, 1933 the daughter of Adam and Lydia Kienzle. Bernice married Marlin Verle Smith on October 7, 1949 in Crookston, Minnesota. Bernice enjoyed Sewing, reading and mostly spending time with her family. Bernice was a great mother and grandmother and loved family gatherings and holidays. Bernice was preceded in death by husband Marlin and two son Steven and Ricky, also her brother Marvin, and sisters Marge, and Marcella. She is survived by her sister Carol West of Napa, California, and five sons: Terry and his wife Leeann of Casper, WY; Randy and his wife Linda of Phoenix, AZ; Dave and his wife Denise of Loveland Co; James and his wife Jolene of Casper, WY; and Gerald of Denver, CO; eleven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Sunday, July 15, 2012 from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. in the chapel of Bustards Funeral Home in Casper. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Bustards Funeral Home in Casper. Interment will follow in the family lot in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery, Gillette WY at 2:00 p.m. July 17, 2012 Should anyone desire, donations may be made to Central Wyoming Hospice in memory of Bernice Smith.
