Bernard Portz

Obituary, Bernard M Portz ( Bernie ) Bernard passed away at his home on May 23, 2018. He is survived by his Daughter, Dawn Hartshorn, grandchildren, Will Henze and Kaylee Hartshorn of Casper and son, Bryan Portz and granddaughter Celeste Portz of Florida. Brothers, William ( Joann) of Midwest, WY; Roger ( Dorothy) Yuma, AZ, and Edward of Arroyo Grande , CA. He was preceded in death by his wife, Paulette Portz, Sisters Judy and Pat. Bernie graduated from Midwest High school, Served 4 years in the Navy and retired from the Army National Guard and was a veteran. Him and his wife, Paulette< lived in Laramie, WY before she took her job as a traveling nurse. He loved to travel with his wife while she was a traveling nurse. He was an avid Bronco and Rockies fan. Services will be held July 16, 2018 at the Oregon Trail Military Cemetery at 11:00. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted at Bustards Funeral Home to help the family with funeral expenses.
