Basil Petumenos

Basil Charles "Bill" Petumenos, 77, of Casper, passed away September 18, 2014 following a long illness. Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM, Thursday, September 25, 2014, at Bustard's Funeral Home with Dee Lundberg officiating. He was born October 14, 1936, in Norwich, Connecticut to Nicholas and Dorothy Petumenos. He obtained his bachelor's degree from Florida Technical University while working in the Apollo Space program. He then served as a sales representative for several commercial and industrial corporations. Later he returned to the aerospace industry as an Operations Director on the space shuttle. Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, horses and mules and sports. He is survived by his son, Daniel Petumenos, daughter Danette Meyer, grandchildren ; Joel Meyer, James Meyer, Jennifer Bauer, Jared Petumenos and Jamie Jenkins, great grandchildren, Isabel Bauer, Riley Meyer, Sampson Meyer, Landon Jenkins, his siblings,Marina Austin, Barbara Thomas, Timothy Petumenos and longtime companion, Ihla Jennewein. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son Billy.
