Barbara Parke

June 28, 1950 — July 28, 2016

Barbara Jean Parke went to be with her Savior on Thursday afternoon peacefully in her sleep. Her trials with MD are over. She was born June 28, 1950 to Ted J. and Caroline J. Cardwell in Casper, WY. She graduated from KWHS in 1968 and then attended Baptist Bible College in Denver one year, Casper College one year. She was married to Fenton E. Parke June 9, 1970. To this union was born a son Fenton G. Parke. They lived several years in Gillette, WY as well as Casper. The couple later divorced. She is survived by her son Fenton G., Mother Caroline Morehouse, step-father Darrell Morehouse, brother Ted James Cardwell who was especially dear to her; and her special friend of 16 years Ron Sanford. Also, her aunt Kathy Meloy, cousins Terri Morrison (George), Bob Meloy and Cliff Meloy all of Casper and several more in and out of state. Surviving also, her uncle Jack Cardwell in Sheridan and a niece, Sonia Langford of Minnesota. Also many friends and care givers who became friends as well as her church family. She was preceded in death by her father, ex-husband, grandparents, several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where the service will be held on Friday, August 5th at 11 AM at 1800 S. Conwell. Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens. There will be a viewing at Bustards the day before the funeral 1 to 7 PM. Donations may be made to Calvary Baptist Academy, Gideons, MD Assn, NOWCAP Services or donors choice.
