Barbara Joan Maness (née Earnest) lived a long life, with her wits about her until the end. She loved art and wildlife. Spending much of her early life in Texas, and her adult life in the Southwest, she made friends wherever she lived. 

She is survived by her two daughters, Lori and Mary and a close family of friends in Texas, New Mexico and Wyoming.
