Barbara Grant

Services for Barbara Jean Grant will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, June 7, 2010 at the Methodist Church in Kaycee with Pastor Tracy Sutherland of the Midwest Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be at the Kaycee Cemetery, Kaycee, Wyoming. Mrs. Grant, 77, died June 1, 2010 at Wyoming Medical Center. She was born November 6, 1932 in Casper to Preston (Happ) and Martha Kesker. She attended Natrona County High School, graduating in 1950. She married Frank Roumell and they lived in Natrona County until 1960. The couple divorced and she later married Delmer Webb Taylor. They lived and ranched in Kaycee, Wyoming until 1982. She moved back to Natrona County to her childhood home on Buchnam Road where she worked up until about 1986. She then met and married Larry Grant and moved back to Kaycee until 2002 when her home washed away in a flood on Powder River. She then bought a home in Midwest, Wyoming where she resided up until the time of her death. She is survived by two daughters, Teresa Taylor of Midwest and Margurite Morrison of Coldspring, Texas; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She is united in death with her parents, Preston (Happ) and Martha Kesker, one infant son lost at the time of birth.
