Ava Colleen Huschka

   Our Ava Bean passed tragically and suddenly on October 15^th, leaving an unimaginable hole in our lives and hearts.

   Ava Colleen was born January 28^th, 2010 in Casper, Wyoming. From the very beginning she filled the world with her incredible light; she had her whole family wrapped around her fingers. She was a lover of all things, from volunteering with animals, drawing, writing, playing volleyball, acting, but especially singing. Ava had a voice that could bring a tear to the toughest man’s eye.

   Ava is very much missed and survived by her mom and greatest inspiration and soulmate from the womb, Chloe; her stepfather who loved her for all she was, Lukas; her sisters, Keli and Charlee, who will keep singing her songs for as long as they live; her brother, Lincoln, who she taught everything she knew; her Gaga, Kelly, who was the light of her life from the moment she was born; her Papa or “Cupcake”, Jerry, who created Ava’s safest space within his warmest hugs; her Uncle Garrett, whose humor inspired her own, and Aunt Destinee, who came into Ava’s life and loved her like she never missed a day of it; her Aunt Chelcie, who found sunshine when Ava Bean entered her life, and Aunt Cat, who kept every drawing they created together, and will always; her Uncle Shane and Grandma Melissa; Grandma Trudy, Aunt Crystal, and Aunt April; adoptive father Devon; and many cousins, bonus aunts and uncles, and very best friends.

   She is preceded in death by her biological father, Ernest Baclaan Jr.

   Although these moments are dark, Ava’s fingerprints are everywhere. Those that knew her will always love and miss her; but we will carry her light through those dark spaces, and honor her spirit in everything we do, see, and accomplish. Ava Always.

   We will be honoring Ava at a celebration of her life on Saturday, October 28^th at Ramkota at 1pm with a reception to follow at Wyoming Rib and Chop, all are welcome to come.
