Aubrey Sears

Graveside services for Aubrey "Al" Leon Sears will be held at 2:30 PM, Friday, August 26, 2011 at the Oregon Trail Veterans Cemetery Chapel. Interment will follow at Oregon Trail Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, August 25, 2011 at Bustard's Funeral Home. Mr. Sears, 84, passed away August 22, 2011 in Casper. He was born November 27, 1926 in Colorado Springs, CO, the son of Vernon and Bertha Sears. He graduated from Jefferson County High School, Jefferson, MO. After his graduation, he enlisted in the US Navy. He married Ada Weber on February 22, 1947 in Desoto, MO. They moved to Casper In November, 1948 where he worked in the oilfield until August, 1950. He then went to work for the Amoco Refinery retiring in 1984 after 34 years of service. Mr. Sears enjoyed camping and fishing. He also enjoyed a good game of golf. He is survived by his children, Ronald, Donald (Teresa), grandchildren, Heather Eastin, Chris Sears, great grandson William "Gavin" Eastin, all of Casper, and sister, Imogene Jacobs of Homosassa, FL. He was preceded in death by Ada, his wife of 50 years, son, Michael, grandson, Michael and his parents. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice. There will be a reception following the services at 3529 Meadowlark Drive, Casper.
