Ashley Royal

On Wednesday October 3rd, 2018, Ashley Ranae Royal passed away at the age of 28. Ashley was born on October 12th, 1989 in Phoenix, AZ to Jim and Angela Royal. When Ashley was 18 months old she and her parents moved to Wyoming. Following her moms passing in October of 1992, Ashley was raised in Casper by her father. She enjoyed trips to Greybull and Basin, Wyoming to spend time with her grandparents and cousins. She also loved horseback riding and riding four wheelers with her cousin Grant. Her dad got a second shot at love when he met Cheryl, and they married May 24th, 2001. Ashley cherished the relationship she shared with her step sister Amy and they were the very best of friends. Ashley graduated from Kelly Walsh High School in 2008 and went on to recieve her license as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She met her soulmate and the love of her life, Keith Blackman, in 2010 and they became engaged on December 18th, 2012. Keith and Ashley built a beautiful life together and lived out their own fairytale love story. One of Ashley's biggest dreams and desires was to be a mom. Though she never had kids of her own, Ashley became a wonderful step mom to Keith's son Xavier, of whom she loved very much. She also enjoyed being an Aunt, and loved her fur babies Cali and Layla with all of her heart. Ashley was preceded in death by her father Jim, her mother Angela, and her great grandparents Ed and Edith Huddleston. She is survived by her fiance Keith Blackman and stepson Xavier Blackman; Grandparents Dorlene (Walter) Mayland; step mom Cheryl Royal; step sister Amy (Calen) Kozak; uncle Randy (Dawn) Royal; uncle Scott Royal; cousin Mikayla Royal; cousin Grant (Melissa) Royal; mother and father in laws Nanci (Dale) Blackman and Bruce (Jo) Williams; sister in law Aleigha Williams; brother in law Devin Williams; nieces Azlyn Bressette and Charlotte Royal; nephew Carter Kozak; uncle Scott (Tracy) Mayland; uncle Ben (Terilyn) Mayland; grandma Shirley Bishop; aunt Kristi (Jerome) Ebarb; aunt Penny (Kurt) Acton; aunt Natalie (Johnny) Espinosa; aunt Trisha Lafollette; and great aunt Bonnie (Ray) Rutherford; cousins Moriah and Seth Mason; Teegan and Ava Lafollette; Chris, Aaron, Kim and Trey Ebarb. Services for Ashley Royal will be held October 8th, 2018; 11am at Word Christian Fellowship located at 1220 S Melrose St here in Casper. All who loved Ashley are welcome.
