Arthur Jesus O'Hearn

Arthur Jesus O’Hearn, 12 months, passed away on January 1, 2024, in Aurora, Colorado. He was born December 7, 2022, in Casper, Wyoming to Kendra and Aaron O’Hearn and baptized on July 15, 2023. During his year on Earth, he brought joy to all who met him and was loved deeply by his family and community. Arthur was a gift in life and heroic in his passing, donating life-saving organs that saved several children. Despite their heavy hearts, Arthur’s family is grateful for the time they had with him, the outpouring of love from their community, as well as the generosity and care that has been shown through prayer, meals, and support.

Arthur is survived by his parents; brother, Maximiliano; paternal grandparents, Carol and Kevin O’Hearn of Casper; maternal grandparents, Guadalupe and Martin Mercado of Fillmore, California; godparents Jessica O’Hearn of Casper and Martin “Tin” Mercado of Fillmore, California; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Vigil Service will be held at Bustard’s & Jacoby Funeral Home on Friday, January 26^th at 6pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday, January 27^th at 10:30am at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. The Rite of Committal will be held at Highland Cemetery in Casper, Wyoming immediately following the service.  

Memorial donations can be made to the Orr’s Hope Foundation, who walk with the families of children in the midst of medical crisis, at 1731 Goodstein Dr, Casper, WY 82601.
