Arta Wehner

Arta Mae Wehner, age 86, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2012 at the Wyoming Medical Center after a short illness. She was born on September 10, 1925 to Andrew and Nellie ( Rose) Kobold. Arta spent her younger years in Sheridan, Wyoming. She spent most of her adult life in Casper, Wy. where she worked as a secretary for Union Carbide, the Chamber of Commerce, and various other businesses. She enjoyed working as a Foster Grandparent at the local schools. Arta loved the outdoors and the Wyoming mountains, which were reflected in her paintings. Arta is survived by.four sons, Andrew Schnorf (Sandy), Kurt Rissler (Cindy), George Schnorf (Ronda), and Karl Wehner. Her brother Lary Kobold (Dori). Seven grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and daughter Tracy. A memorial service is pending.
