She grew up on a farm/ranch in the Huntley community where she raised crops and bred, raised and sold cattle, pigs and chickens. During Ardith’s high school years Mary & Doyle were neighbors to her family in the Table Mountain community, where Doyle dubbed Ardith “the Indian princess” because she rode her palomino mare bareback or with a blanket during hot weather. After high school Ardith obtained an Administrative Business degree in Denver, CO.
Ardith married Donald Pfaff in 1959 and resided in the Lingle, WY community, then moved to Torrington, Scottsbluff, NE Torrington, and Phoenix, AZ, back to Torrington, Glenrock, and finally Casper.
Ardith is predeceased by her sister Janet, husband Donald, and both parents. She is survived by 2 children, Donna Barnard and David Pfaff, six grandchildren, Amber, Chelsy, Brittany, Christy, Matthew, and Aaron. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren and one on the way.
