Anne Maldoon

January 5, 1932 — March 4, 2015

Anne-Marie E. Maldoon joined her heavenly Father Wednesday March 4, 2015. Anne, age 83, was born to Jack and Vivian Edna Eberle January 5, 1932 in Omaha, Nebraska. She was raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Watertown New York. Anne went to school at Saint Lawrence University in Canton, New York where she met and married her husband Lynn Morse Maldoon. Lynn and Anne settled in Canoga Park, CA and raised four sons. Anne then returned to school, receiving a Bachelors of Arts in Religious Studies in 1976 from California State University, Northridge and a Masters in Divinity in 1979 from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California. Anne became an Ordained Minister on December 6, 1981 in Canoga Park, California Returning to her mid-west roots, Pastor Anne was called to a series of pastor-ships in the South Dakota Synod of the ELCA, serving Spearfish, Phillip & Midland, Huron and Groton & Houghton congregations before retiring with her husband in 1997. Anne and Lynn loved to travel. Together they traveled widely in the United States, Canada, Europe and the Holy Land. Anne found further opportunities to travel to Africa, China and Papua New Guiana. Anne is survived by her Husband Lynn, Four sons, 3 Grandsons and 3 Granddaughters. Services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday March 7th at Grace Lutheran Church on CY avenue in Casper Wyoming
