Anne Gordon Begley, our loving mother and wife, joined the Lord on Friday, October 23, 2015. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her, and most particularly, by her three boys, John Stephen Begley, Patrick Gordon Begley and Michael Everett Begley. Anne was born September 10, 1941 in Arlington, Virginia to Everett Johnston Coil and Mary Louise Beaton Coil. She married Patrick James Begley in 1966 and for the remainder of her life dedicated herself as an educator, loving wife, mother and lover of all animals big and small. She devoted her life to raising her children and loving and supporting her husband. She is held in high regard by anyone who had the pleasure of knowing the great woman she was. Apart from spending time with her family, she loved the outdoors and song birds. She prided herself on being worldly and well-educated. Anne attended high school at Castilleja High School in Palo Alto, California. She later attended three prestigious universities including: Stanford University, University of Colorado-Boulder, and Colorado Women's College, earning a B.A. in English and a Masters in Secondary Education. Anne is proceeded in death by her parents. She is survived by her brother, Rev. Paul Douglas and wife, Carolyn H. Coil, her husband Patrick J. Begley, Michael E. and Kelli Begley, Patrick G. and Elizabeth Begley, John Stephen and Allison Begley and her six (6) grandchildren Finnigan (Finn) James Begley, Brynn Marie Begley, Rory Anne Begley, Margaretmary (Maggie) Anne Begley, Grayson Glenn Begley, Quinlan Patrick Begley and numerous nieces and nephews who she also loved dearly.
