Anita James

October 3, 1933 — April 9, 2015

Anita Katherine Jolley-James was called home to be with her Savior the Lord Jesus Christ. She passed away peacefully at Wyoming Medical Center on April 9, 2015. Anita was born October 3, 1933 in Midwest Wyoming to Kirby and Bernice (Shaw) Jolley. Her life centered around taking care of her family and always helping those in need. She attended Natrona County High School and Casper College majoring in Accounting. As an enrolled agent Anita owned and operated Anita's Accounting & Bookkeeping for over 30 years retiring in 2007. During these years she was Vice President and President of Wyoming Association of Public Accountants (WAPA), also serving as Vice President and President of the Casper Elks Does. Before and after retirement Anita loved to travel, go camping, snowmobiling and many other outdoor activities. Many of her fond memories are cherished of the family gatherings on Casper Mountain at her cabin and at Dull Knife Lake in the Big Horn Mountains. Anita was a very devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She loved to entertain, and would often have groups of family and friends over for coffee, breakfast and dinner whether it be at her cabin on the mountain or at her home. She was an extraordinary woman who will be forever missed. Anita was preceded in death by three husbands Alvin C. Petty, Ronald o. Beattie and William R. James; her parents Kirby R. Jolley and Bernice (Shaw) Jolley; siblings Kirby R. Jolley, Margaret B. Daley and Dorothy P. Blevins. She is survived by one son Tim Stark, three daughters Roxanne M. Heinze (Rick), Catherine A. Morton, Susan K~ Bailey (Steve), 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A memorial Service will be held at First Southern Baptist Church, 220 South Pennsylvania Ave off East 2nd Street at 2:00 pm Saturday May 9th, 2015 with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Casper Humane Society, Central Wyoming Rescue Mission or Casper Youth for Christ.
