Angela T. Armijo, 92, died Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Life Care Center, Casper, WY. She was born September 10, 1919 to Andrew and Magdelina (Vigil) Trujillo in Fort Collins, CO. Angela married George D. Armijo on April 11, 1936 in Fort Collins. Two of their children, Helen and Joe, were born in Fort Collins. In 1941 they moved to Cheyenne where their youngest child, .George, was born. They were residents of Cheyenne for over 60 years, until 2007 when they moved to Casper to live with their son and his wife, George and Kristi, Mrs. Armijo was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She was a long time employee of Cheyenne area restaurants including The Steak House, Ramada Inn and The Airport. She was renowned for her skills in making pastries and Mexican food. Mrs. Armijo and her husband loved baseball, camping and fishing. She was a member of North Christian Church of Cheyenne, WY. Mrs. Armijo is survived by her husband of 75 years, George D. Armijo of Casper, daughter Helen Payne of Cincinnati, Ohio, sons Joe (Janet) Armijo of Bigfork and Bozeman, MT and George T. (Kristi) Armijo of Casper, WY; 8 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, an infant son and a granddaughter. Services will be held at Bustard's Funeral Home West Chapel, Casper, WY on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at 2:00 .PM with Pastor Roger Aurand officiating. Cremation has taken place and inurnment will be at a later date.
