Angela (Angie) Mae Haynes, 48, passed away November 12th, 2018 at the Kloefkorn Hospice Home in Casper, WY after a long battle with breast cancer. Angie was born in Chamberlain, SD on January 21st, 1970 to Marc and Diane (Heinrich) Haynes. She moved to Upton, WY with her family in 1975. There she attended school and graduated in 1988. In 1989, Angie gave birth to a healthy son, choosing the loving option of adoption. She lived in Oregon for many years, working in customer service and retail, until 2011 when she moved back to Upton and the surrounding areas of Rapid City, SD and Casper, WY to be closer to family. Angie lived a full life through simple pleasures. She developed a love for wine while living in Oregon's wine country, and she loved reading, listening to music, and spending time with her family. She loved animals, especially her dear cat Topaz, who was her constant companion. Angie had a quick wit and a strong will. When challenged, she rose to defend her passions and beliefs in every aspect of her life. After returning to her Catholic faith in 2012, she became an active and passionate member of the pro-life movement, particularly through the National LIFE Runners Organization when she moved to Rapid City, SD. Although she was a quiet and private individual, she touched the hearts and lives of many people through her pro-life ministry. For her constant service and witness, she was selected as the 2018 LIFE Runners Lady of the Year out of 6,000 lady teammates in 35 nations. She was presented with her plaque shortly before she passed away, an honor that filled her with joy and a deep sense of accomplishment. Angie spent her last days surrounded by the family she loved so much, spending that time praying, listening to music, and reminiscing. She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who will be missed. Angie is survived by her mother Diane; siblings Marnie (Randy) Hall of Casper, WY, Lexie (Brian)Yarrington of Thermopolis, WY, Nicole (Daryl) Blakeman of Rapid City, SD, Mitchell (Katie) Haynes of Upton, WY, Michael (Amy) Haynes of Fort Collins, CO, Daneil (Travis) Cundall of Casper, WY and Ashley (Brandon) Sprigler of Casper, WY.
