Andrew "Andy" Legerski passed away at his home October 15, 2014 surrounded by loved ones. He was born June 30, 1923 in Kleenburn, Wyoming to John and Julia (Antonova) Legerski. He grew up and worked on the family ranch at Kruse Creek east of Big Horn, Wyoming. He worked at the coal mines near Sheridan where he met George Jensik. George took Andy home for dinner where he met his daughter Rosemary. They later moved to Casper where they settled and raised their family. After moving to Casper Andy began working at Judd Tire as a tire retreader. He was a hard worker and spent over 40 years working there. But no matter how hard he worked his family was his priority. He was always sure to make sure there was more than enough food on the table, clean clothes, and lots of love. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as any extras that were around. He loved all children and they loved him for his kind and gentle nature. He was a lifelong fan of the Wyoming Cowboys and Denver Broncos. Andy was always available and willing to help those that were in need. Andy is survived by his children, Gayle VanDorn, Dale (Janeen) Legerski, Ron (Jodi) Legerski, Rick (Dianna) Legerski, Cheryll (Andy) Gallegos, and Laura (Jerry) Youree; 11 grandchildren, Jennifer Legerski, Ben VanDorn, Shantel Anderson, Scotty Legerski, Nikki Lawyer, Morgan Legerski, KayCee Legerski, Cody Legerski, Laramie Legerski, Ryan Gallegos, and Amanda Gallegos; 9 great-grandchildren, Jesse , Alexys, Kaylee, Drew, Kyndall, Bode, Tripp, Wyld, and Reagan; three brothers, Walter (Mary Jane), William, and Louis (Sandy); one sister, Alma Kilmarx; and one sister-in-law, Nina Legerski.
