Amy Olsen

Amy was born June 15, 1967 to Eddie and Violet Brinkman in Pipestone, Minnesota. She attended grade school at Astoria South Dakota then went on to graduate from Hendricks High School in Hendricks, Minnesota. After high school Amy went to Vocational Tech School in Mitchell, South Dakota where she earned her degree in business accounting. Amy was baptized in the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Verdi, Minnesota. She was then confirmed at the Calvary Lutheran Church in Hendricks, Minnesota on September 7, 1975. On May 5, 1990 Amy married Brian Olsen at First Lutheran Church in Hendricks, Minnesota. The couple lived in Sheridan, WY where Amy worked for Sheridan Eye Care Clinic for a year before they moved to Alpine, Wyoming, where she was employed as the city clerk. After 5 years there they moved to Casper, Wyoming. Popish Vet Clinic had the privilege of employing Amy for 17 years. During her time in Casper Amy also spent a year working for Prince of Peace Lutheran Church where she was a member. The past few years, Amy has spent her time helping her friends and loved ones. Amy so loved spending time with her children especially watching Tyler play sports and quality moments with Shelby, as well as going out to see C.W.'s horses. She loved music, watching WWE wrestling, Vikings football, and all the time she spent with her friends. Amy also loved to shop at Big Lots, The Dollar Store and Hobby Lobby. Amy passed away on Saturday March 16, 2013 at Central Wyoming Hospice at the age of 45. Amy is lovingly remembered by her beautiful children Shelby an d Tyler Olsen, of Casper, WY, her mom Violet Brinkman of Hendricks, MN, 3 sisters; Debbie (Dan) Hulsebus, LeeAnn (Ron) Currey, and Terry (Brad) Christianson. Nieces and Nephews; Dawn, Derik, Kayla, Emily, Abby, Hope, Dustin and Devin. She was the Godmother to Devin Christianson and Taylor Olsen. She will also be missed by her dear friend C.W.. She was proceeded in death by her Daddy; Eddie Brinkman. Amy will be sadly missed by her family and many friends and all who knew her. May her beautiful spirit always be with you in your hearts.
