Amanda "Mandy" Jo Humphrey, 35, was born on February 5, 1980 to Keith and Gay Humphrey. Mandy passed from us on Monday evening, September 7, 2015, after a long, courageous battle with juvenile diabetes. Despite her difficulties and eventual kidney failure, Mandy always maintained a continuous upbeat and positive attitude. Mandy was a lifelong resident of Evansville Wyoming, where she attended Evansville Elementary, Centennial Junior High, and Kelly Walsh High School. Many of her fondest memories began as her high school career started. She was a "super fan" of Kelly Walsh basketball, soccer, and football teams. One of Mandy's most cherished moments was her being crowned Kelly Walsh Homecoming Queen. Mandy graduated with many lifelong friends by her side during the commencement of the class of '98. Post-high school Mandy attended the Wyoming Law Enforcement Academy in 2002. Her chosen discipline was in Emergency Medical Dispatching. Upon graduation she worked for the Evansville Police Department's dispatch division where she excelled for a number of years. She enjoyed the comradery of the department and sharing her drive and commitment with the like-minded. Mandy made many lasting friendships during her work there and within the community. After working for the Evansville Police Department she took a job at Kum and Go sharing her generous spirit. This was much more than a job for her. This was an opportunity for Mandy to make new friends and share her giving and distinctive personality with new people daily. She had a unique way making strangers crack a smile. Mandy's passion for sports and athletics were always dear to her heart. She was Casper's one and only "End Zone Animal" for the Wyoming's Calvary indoor arena football team. She wasn't just a super fan; she was honored to become the equipment manager and one of the team moms. Mandy counted down the days for each Calvary football season. She spent countless hours preparing dinners and goodies for the team. She loved traveling with the team on road games. She touched many hearts during these favorite moments in her life. Mandy had many passions in life and all who knew her could know her schedule as it reflected who would be performing at the Casper Event Center next. Mandy loved attending concerts, live events and even WWE. Some might even say camping out for tickets was just as fun for Mandy as the actual event or show. Mandy is survived by her loving parents Keith and Gay Humphrey, her siblings; Yvonne Stroud, James Wagner and Daniel Humphrey. Mandy was blessed with a large extended family including 11 aunts and uncles, 4 nieces, and many cousins. Mandy cared for Dominque Taylor, Jacquie Bartlett, Jaime Jordan, Ariel Wagner, Kelly Bohnet, Alicia Kellch, Jim Birkle and many cousins as her own brothers and sisters. This obituary would be amiss without mentioning Mandy's two favorite men in the world, outside of her close friends and family of course; Garth Brooks and Peyton Manning. Services will be held at the Industrial Building on the Fair Grounds on September 18, 2015 at 3PM.
