Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Allouice Mathern will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, Monday, November 14, 2011 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church by Fr. Robert Fox. Visitation will be from Noon to 7:00 PM, Sunday, November 13, 2011 at Bustard's Funeral Home West Chapel. Vigil for the Deceased will be celebrated at 7:00 PM, Sunday, November 13, 2011 at Bustard's Funeral Home West Chapel. Allouice Mathern, 91 years old, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2011 at her granddaughter's home in Casper Wyoming. Allouice was born June 5th 1920 to the parents Frank and Barbara Kowis in Grassy Butte North Dakota. Her parents moved from Grassy Butte to Bridger, Montana and from there to Rosebud, Montana where she grew up. Allouice was married November 23, 1937 to Tony Mathern. In 1948, Tony Mathern went to work for Continental Refinery and they settled in Little Flower Catholic parish in Billings, Montana where she stayed a member for 60 years. Tony died in 1969 and Allouice went to work for the Highland Country Club in 1970, until she retired in 1983. In 2008 Allouice, after having health problems, moved to Casper, Wy to live with her granddaughter and family, Mary and Kristan Gaddis until she passed away. Some of her loves include, dancing, bowling, playing cards and reading. She enjoyed Blackjack gum, red licorice and just being around people, especially her great grandchild babies which were her greatest joy. She brought joy and wisdom to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Allouice is survived by her daughter, Janet (Patrick) Keating and children Kelly (Jim) Broz, 7 children and 3 grandchildren, Terry (Richard) O'Hearn, 7 children and 1 grandchild, Matthew (Jennifer) Keating and 8 children, Mary (Kristan) Gaddis and 8 children, Donald (Traci) Keating and 7 children, Cassidy Howell, and daughter Ann, and her granddaughter, Cassidy's husband Darin and Kara (Trenton) Slagle and 2 children. She is also survived by her son, Ronald (Lorreta) Mathern, their 2 children, LaWand (Justin) Eichman, and Russel "Mathern and by her son Donald (Brooks) Mathern and their 3 children, Michelle (Duftan) Sandoz and 2 children, Bryce Mathern and Troy (Amanda) Mathern.
