Allan Leroy Black

August 6, 1937 — July 3, 2024

Allan L. Black (1937-2024) passed away peacefully on July 3, 2024 at the age of 86 at Central Wyoming Hospice in Casper, Wyoming. He was surrounded by friends and family.

Allan was born in Douglas, Wyoming to Archie Orville Black and Rosetta Faye Black on August 6, 1937. He married the love of his life Doris Lee Robbins in 1957, and brought three wonderful children into the world.

As a young child, Allan worked on his family’s homestead in Orin, Wyoming. He went on to graduate from Glenrock High School. Allan continued his education and obtained an Associate’s Degree from Casper College. Allan worked for the Water Department for many years and eventually left his position at the City to pursue his passion of owning his own construction company. He later found a love for real estate.

Allan thoroughly enjoyed being a member of the (BPOE) Elks and was also a booster club member of Casper College Athletics. He enjoyed going to the T-Bird games. He was a NASCAR enthusiast and collected model cars and tractors in his free time. Allan loved rodeo and extreme bull riding and rarely missed a rodeo event.

Allan is survived by his wife of 67 years, Doris Lee (Robbins) Black, his three children; Peggy Candelaria (Dan), Penny Boyles (Larry-deceased), and Monte Black (Christy) and his 5 grandchildren; Kyle Tuma (Andrea), Justine Tuma, Jared Tuma (Kate), MacKenzie Francois (Bryce), and Laynian Black. Allan is also survived by 4 great grandchildren; Tristan, Ryan, Kayden, Addie and many nieces and nephews, extended family members, neighbors, and beloved friends.

There will be no funeral services per Allan’s request. In lieu of flowers and cards we ask that donations be sent to Central Wyoming Hospice, 319 S Wilson St, Casper, Wyoming 82601, for the loving care that they provided during Allan’s last days.
