Alice Bina

Alice L. Bina, 94, of Casper, died January 2, 2020, peacefully at home. She was born October 15,  1925, to the late Mollie and John Treber in Ault, Colorado. She grew up in Cheyenne and worked at the family owned Treber Laundry, providing laundry services to Wyoming’s governors and Warren Air Force Base’s top officers. Alice married the love of her life, Stanley P. Bina, in Cheyenne, on November 11, 1956 and moved to Casper in 1969. They were blessed by three beautiful children, LaRamie, Kip, and Guy, and four wonderful grandchildren. Alice was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind many cherished memories.

Alice loved gardening in the spring and summer and canning in the fall, all while being an avid baseball fan. She and her mother always had a standing one dollar bet on the World Series. At Christmas, Alice was famous for her wonderful rye bread. She and Stan spent the winters traveling the countryside. After Stan’s passing, Alice loved going with Guy to Tuesday night bowling for the fried shrimp. Alice was legendary for her cards and letters sent all over the country. She never met a stranger and was quick with a smile.

Alice is survived by her sons, Kip (Angela) Bina and Guy (Randee) Bina, and grandchildren, Eli, Cole, Natalie, and Garrett, and brother, Roy Treber. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Bina, daughter, LaRamie Bina, and brother, Clarence “Lucky” Treber.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 7, 2020, at Bustard’s Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery. Please join the family for a reception immediately after interment at the VFW post #9439, 1800 Bryan Stock Trail, Casper Wyoming. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 6, 2020, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bustard’s Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family recommends donations to Natrona County Meals on Wheels or Central Wyoming Hospice, both of which provided care and compassion to Alice.
