Friday November 15th 2:00 P.M. a wake is to be held at the Quality Inn, Reception Room, 821 N. Popular St., Casper, WY. Albert's life journey of 88 years ended on November 8, 2013. Because of his faith, he believed passing is not the end, but simply another beginning. Albert leaves behind two children, Jeff Rittenour arid Randi Price; along with six grandchildren. Born in the roaring 20's, Albert left Hawk Springs Nebraska and came to know Casper as home. As the 20's became the 30's, Albert lived on his mother's farm until graduation from Natrona County High School in 1943 at the age of 17. The day after graduation he left for the United States Navy. In the Navy he reached the rank of V6 in Electrical Aviation, serving in both WWII and the Koran conflict. Through GI Bill Albert went to the University of Wyoming where he majored in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. There he met' the future Mrs. Rittenour, Mary Chesebro. On August 24,1947 Albert and Mary were wed. Ready to start a new life, Albert and Mary returned to Casper, living again on his childhood farm. His professional journey then took him to Amoco where he worked from 1946 to 1982. Albert and Mary built their dream house and raised a family, a daughter Randi and a son, Jeff. Albert was always a busy man. Working at the plant long hours, being a church deacon, raising kids, being a husband and running a farm, Albert never stopped. Despite daily chaos, he found time to create .an oasis out at the lake or up in the mountains or in his master workshop, where many projects were crafted. After retirement Albert and Mary moved into town and enjoyed many more years together before her, passing in 2008. He then spent his last years telling his life stories to his grandchildren. In passing, Albert leaves with us a story unique unto each of us who knew him. We cherish the moments we shared and will always feel the impact he left on' those of us who knew and loved him.
