Alanna Joy Jaqua, 85, of Casper, Wyoming, passed away January 19, 2016 at Central Wyoming Hospice's Chapman House after a many year battle with dementia. She was born in Los Angeles, California on July 30, 1930 to Howard Paul Johnson and Pearl Rebecca (McGowan) Johnson. Alanna was a dancer and entertainer before working as a secretary in the oil and gas industry. She married Donald Terry Jaqua in April, 1976 in Alliance, Nebraska. She was a member of the Eagles, Elks, Moose, and the American Legion. She was also active with the ASPCA Dog Club and the Humane Society. Alanna loved raising and training show dogs, traveling and sightseeing, and cooking and canning. She is survived by her son, Kevin Bock of Casper, Wyoming; brother, Herb Johnson of Yuma, Arizona; and sister, Teryll Vitto of Parumph, Nevada.
