Aaron T. Whitney, Jr., passed away February 26, 2013 in Casper, WY he was born July 5, 1928 in Atchison, Kansas to: Aaron T. Whitney Sr. and Eulah I Shepherd. He graduated from Lincoln School in Atchison, Kansas. Aaron was owner of Whitney Janitorial Service from 1951 until his retirement in 2010. Aaron married Mary Ellen Embry on September 3, 1977 in Las Vegas, NV. Aaron was a member of Highland Park Community Church. Aaron enjoyed fishing and was a member of Outdoor Fishermen's Club, and the National Association of Fishing in North America. His hobbies included fishing, coin collecting; Aaron was also a collector of most everything. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen of Casper; his sons, Ernest Whitney of Seattle, WA, Michael (Stacie) Whitney of Casper, John Robinson of Casper; daughter Amanda (Adam) Lye of Casper; sisters Izetta (Alan) Downing of Chicago, Illinois, Eulah Meadows of Sacramento, CA; brothers Jerome (Leatrice) Whitney of Denver, CO, Jimmy Redd of Colorado and Larry Wilson, Sr. of Casper; nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He is Preceded in death by his father Aaron T. Whitney, Sr. and stepmother Wilma Whitney of Atchison, KS; mother Eulah I Wilson and stepfather Ira Wilson of Casper, WY; one son Curtis G. Whitney, Denver, CO; two brothers Webster Wilson of Sacramento, CA, Peggy King, Pacoima, CA., Magdalene Ragsdale-Potter of Bakersfield, CA, Pranto Wilson of Casper, WY and niece Roshann Whitney of Denver, CO. Memorial services will be Thursday, March 3, 2016 at 11:00am at Highland Park Community Church (5725 Highland Drive), Casper, WY Pastor Mike Fackle will be officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to Highland Park Community or Central Wyoming Hospice.
