  Services for Aaron Joseph McClure, 41, of Casper will be conducted Wednesday, August 24, at Bustard Funeral Home of Casper, Wyoming at 10:00AM.

  Aaron passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2022 in the comfort of his home. After a life long battle with Asthma and ultimately succumbing to the complications of COVID-19, Aaron is finally at peace.

  Aaron was born on Thursday March 19, 1981, in Casper, Wyoming, to Terrance “Terry” McClure and Ann Marie McClure.

  Aaron attended school at St Anthony’s, Grant, East Junior High, Kelly Walsh High School, and Casper College.

  Aaron had a passion for life. He expressed himself through his singing voice, playing piano, and his natural talent for string instruments. Despite being deathly allergic to animals, he rescued numerous strays giving them comfort, love, and a place to call home. His love of gardening brought happiness, joy, and beauty into this world. He had a very mischievous sense of humor always trying to one up one of his brothers. He identified with James Douglas Morrison’s poetry and music, anyone who knew Aaron knew Jim. Aaron gave of himself willingly to his family and friends without hesitation, a real life Superman.

  Aaron is survived by his parents Terry and Ann Marie McClure, his brothers Adam McClure, Alex McClure, and Andrew (Tayler) McClure and his Nephew Thane McClure. He is also survived by his uncles and aunts; Terry and Phyllis Letz, Neil and Susan Miller, Jeff and Kim McClure, Sandi Proper, Rick and Jan Proper.

  He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Herschel and Evelyn McClure, maternal grandparents Ray and Angie Proper, his Uncle Ray Proper Jr., and his cousin Joy Proper.

  The last year of his life was spent loving his nephew, Thane.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wed. Aug. 24, 2022 at Bustard & Jacoby Funeral Home.
