Aaliyah Chioma Janae Harper ~ April 13th, 2018-September 8th, 2018 Aaliyah was born at 10:24 am on April 13th, 2018 to Ashley Stephens and Aaron Harper. Aaliyah was scheduled to make her appearance in June of 2018, but she had other plans. Aaliyah came into this world 9 weeks premature at only 2 pounds and 12.5 inches long. She was a fighter. She fought and strived and exceeded all expectations. Her strength and determination amazed everyone around her. Aaliyah spent 57 days in the NICU, wowing the staff at her progress. Ashley and Aaron were able to bring their miracle baby home to start their lives together with her big brother Azarian on June 11th, 2018. Aaliyah was the ultimate princess from the time she came into this world. She had a very particular way she wanted things done, and that is the way that they were done. Aaliyah especially enjoyed her meal times, and would even get bossy if you were taking longer than she wanted to wait. The "grand-lady" enjoyed babbling with grandma, snuggling with granny, napping with her daddy and watching wrestling with her big brother. Ashley and Aaliyah enjoyed the classic "mom and daughter" activities such as dressing up, all hour feedings, having pedicures, and endless hugs and kisses maintaining the everlasting bond of mother and daughter. Aaliyah was looking forward to graduating off of oxygen, starting solid foods, reaching more developmental milestones, and the future she had with her loving family. Despite being born at only 2 pounds, Aaliyah grew to 12 pounds and 19 inches long. Her life was unfortunately cut short on September 8th, 2018 and she went to live in the sky. She is preceded in death by her maternal great grandparents; Wysangle Tanksley and David Williams. She is survived by her parents Ashley Stephens and Aaron Harper of Casper, Wyoming, her big brother Azarian Tanksley of Casper, Wyoming, her maternal grandmother Brenda Tanksley of Casper, Wyoming, her paternal grandfather Joesph(Clara)Stephens of Sanford, Florida, paternal grandparents Valenta and Olinza Headd of Casper, Wyoming, maternal aunt Danielle Robinson of Denver, Colorado, maternal Uncle Zavier Tanksley of Casper, Wyoming, maternal Uncles, Joshua Stephens and Justin Stephens of Sandford, Flordia, paternal uncle Andre (Joslyn) Harper of Wright, Wyoming, paternal Aunt Olisa Gardner of Casper, Wyoming, paternal aunt Linshea Headd of Kansas City, Kansas, paternal Uncle Olinza Jr. (Rebekah) Headd of Antioch, California as well as hosts of special aunts, uncles, cousins, and loving friends.
