Sierra Jensen

Sierra Jensen, age 35, of Casper, Wyoming passed away July 9, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born June 20, 1986 in Twin Falls, Idaho to Robert and Linda Seaman. She was blessed with the gift of song and the desire to share it. Through her gift, she met Seth, the person she spent the rest of her journey with, in April 2005, and they wedded December 17, 2005 in the Salt Lake Temple. They relocated to Casper, Wyoming and to this union, four children were born, two of which are still with Seth and two who were able to greet her as she was received into heaven.

She was an avid learner, always educating for further knowledge. She continued her studies gaining a certificate in personnel training and loved teaching pound class. She was enrolled and studying business management before she was taken home. She was a part of the Wyoming Symphony Orchestra, Opera Wyoming, and Wyoming Choral Arts Ensemble, where she was able to continue to develop her love of music.

She was a selfless person, kind, and always took care of others even during her own weakness. Her smile was contagious and would light up an entire room. She took her calling as a mother most seriously, she loved her children, such that she personally oversaw the education of her children.

She is survived by her husband of 15 years, Seth Jensen, children, Porter and Lilia, her parents, Robert and Linda, siblings, Rebecca (Kelly), Melissa (Eric), Rob (Wendy), Savanna, Joanna (Kory), Makayla (Brandon), honorary sister Molly (Adam), and countless other friends.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints - Wolf Creek Chapel, 3931 West 45th Street in Casper.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wyoming Foundation for Cancer Care or the Angels Cancer Care Program.
