Joseph Crawford

Joseph James Crawford passed away September 11th, 2013 at the age of 79 at the Wyoming Medical Center. He was surround by his family at time of death. Joe as he was called was born May 28th 1934 to Charlie Albert Crawford and Lottie Mae "France" Crawford. He was the 8th child of 12 children. Joe grew up on a ranch near Glendive Montana. He enjoyed doing ranch work and also doing a little bare back riding in rodeo`s in and around Montana. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Joe served in the US Army from 1951 to 1955 in Korea and Japan. After his discharge, he returned to doing ranch work, and oil field work. He also worked at the Glenrock Sale Barn for many years. He retired in 1991 due to a back injury on an oil rig. In 1994 he met and married Cora Little of Glenrock formally of Mercer, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parent, and all of his siblings. Joe is survived by his wife Cora, his son Joe Crawford II of Anchorage, Alaska, 2 grandsons Ryan and Nate Crawford of billing Montana. One stepdaughter Joann George, 2 step grandsons James and Jacob George all of Glenrock, Wyoming, nieces, nephews and friends. Joe was a long time resident of the Glenrock community. Cremation has taken place at Bustards Funeral Home in Casper, Wyoming Grave side Military services will be held at the Glenrock Cemetery on September 20, 2013 at 2:00
