Frances Tripp

Frances Ann Tripp, age 76, of Casper, Wyoming, passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Wyoming Medical Center. She was born September 8, 1944 to Roy and Maggie (Miller) Whitehead in Grayville, Illinois. She grew up in Montana and Wyoming and her family relocated to her forever home, in Casper, when she was 5 years old. She graduated from Natrona County High School. For many years, she worked as a caretaker for Highland Park Cemetery and the City of Casper. Her most recent job was working in the produce section at Walmart. She worked there up until her passing. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and racing – especially Nascar’s Jeff Gordon Driver.

She is survived by son, James (Angela) Tripp, brother, Roy Whitehead Jr., numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and her 2 furry companions, Tiny Tina and Little Bit.

She is preceded in passing by her parents, her husband, James Mitchell Tripp, 2 sons, John and Clifford, two sisters, Mary Key and Lucille Smith.
